Velveeta Fudge Recipe

This Velveeta Fudge Recipe is fun and unique. The combination of the flavorful creamy cheese and chocolate go hand-in-hand in this fudge recipe. The saltiness of the Velveeta cheese along with the sweet flavor of chocolate create a mouthwatering combination that can't be beaten.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 8 oz. Velveeta
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 16 oz. powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sift the powdered sugar and unsweetened cocoa together in a large bowl and set it aside.
  2. Melt cheese and butter in a double boiler on the stove top.
  3. Pour the melted ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add the vanilla and stir everything together.
  5. Pour into an 9" x 9" greased dish and spread out.
  6. Optional: sprinkle pecans or walnuts on top.

Notes

TIP: the cheese and butter can be melted in the microwave, instead of on the stove top. Just make sure you stir every 30 seconds and use a microwave-safe bowl.
