Ingredients
4skinless boneless chicken breastscooked and shredded
1tablespoonminced onion
1cupsour cream
10.5ouncecan cream of condensed chicken soup
10.5ouncecan cream of condensed cheddar cheese soup
1-1/2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
28ouncebag frozen tater tots
Optional: pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
Add the cooked shredded chicken to a large bowl.
Next, add the minced onion, soups, sour cream, salt, and pepper, and 3/4 cup of shredded cheese.
Spread the chicken mixture in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and top with the remainder of the cheese.
Place the tater tots on top and bake for 60-70 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown.
To get crispy tater tots, broil for five minutes at the end. (Be sure to stay close by, as they will burn fast under the broiler.)
