Chocolate Chip Banana Cookies

Chocolate chip banana cookies are an absolutely delicious treat. The simple chocolate chip cookies turned out chewy and rich. They are baked to perfection and are an easy cookie to make.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mashed bananas about two bananas
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour + 2 Tbsp.
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350-degrees and spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
  • Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
  • Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, brown and white sugars to the bowl and mix well.
  • Next, add the flour (both the cups and tablespoons of flour), baking soda, and salt and mix until well blended.
  • Finally, add the dark chocolate chips and mix.
  • Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes.
  • Scoop the dough onto a cookie sheet and bake for approximately 13 to 15 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden brown.
