Cake
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 - 16 oz. can chocolate syrup
Frosting
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Grease and flour a 9" x 13" pan.
Cake
Mix the butter and sugar in a large bowl.
Add the self-rising flour and mix.
Add the eggs, and mix, one at a time.
Add the chocolate syrup and mix until well blended.
Pour into the cake pan and bake for approximately 30-minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool.
Frosting
Mix the butter and cream cheese until well blended.
Add the cocoa and mix.
Add the powdered sugar and mix until well blended.
Spread onto the cooled cake.
