- 2 pounds ground beef precooked
- 30 ounces refrigerated cheese ravioli I used LaPasta cheese ravioli
- 30 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 45 ounces spaghetti sauce I used Ragu
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Pour about ¼ cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of the casserole dish and spread it out.
Add the ricotta, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to a medium-sized bowl and mix well.
Line the casserole dish with a single layer of cheese ravioli.
Spread half of the ground beef over the pasta. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli. Pour half of the spaghetti sauce over the meat and cheese mixture and spread it out.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the mixture.
Add another single layer of ravioli and repeat the above step. You will have a total of two layers.
Top with the remainder of the mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake 30 more minutes.
You can use frozen ravioli for this recipe, but it will end up making the dish a little more liquidy.
