  • 4 chicken breasts cooked and shredded
  • 1 - 10.75 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 8 Tbsp. butter melted
  • 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Cook the chicken breasts and shred them (I always make my chicken ahead of time so it's easy to throw together at dinner time).
  • Preheat the oven preheated to 350-degrees.
  • Add the shredded chicken breasts to a large bowl.
  • Next, add the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, minced onion, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • Melt the butter and pour over the crackers.
  • Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and the chicken is hot.

Notes

Add another 45 minutes if you decide to cook the chicken. I make my chicken ahead of time, shred it, and keep it refrigerated or frozen until I am ready.
You can also use a rotisserie chicken for this recipe to save on time.
