Crust
- 1-1/2 cups crushed Nilla Wafers
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter melted
Pie Filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Crust
Crush the Nilla Wafers in a Ziplock bag
Add Nilla Wafers, cocoa, and powdered sugar to a medium-sized bowl and mix together with a whisk.
Add the melted butter and mix with an electric mixer.
Press into a greased 9-inch pie pan and set aside.
Heat oven to 350-degrees.
Add the softened cream cheese to a large bowl and mix until creamy.
Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix.
Melt chocolate chips for about 50 seconds, stirring at the 30-second mark, and add to the mixture.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix well. Pour chocolate mixture into pie crust.
Bake chocolate pie for 30 to 35-minutes at 350-degrees.
Let cool to room temperature and serve.
If you like a more milk-chocolatey flavor in the pie, switch out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for milk chocolate chips.
Add some whipped topping or ice cream for additional fun and flavor on the top. You can also add some chocolate shavings on top of whipped cream.
TIP: An Oreo crust, or graham cracker crust is another option.
